⚡ YOU CAN'T BE FOR EVERYONE. ⚡

Earlier this week I was talking to another small business owner, and she said, "I love getting to know other boss babes." Then almost immediately, doubled back and said, "I'm afraid to use that term in my business because I know it irritates some people." She was worried that because the term "boss babe" is kind of trendy right now, and it sounds casual, playful, bold, that it would alienate some.

Here's what I told her: Does your target audience, your soulmate client, identify with the term "boss babe?" That's all that matters! I say boss babe all the time in my business. I know some people will probably look at my IG and just immediately go, "Oh this girl isn't for me." That's fine! Your business can't and shouldn't be for everyone. Your business is for your soulmate clients, and that's it. Anything else would be inauthentic.

Whether it's your logo, your brand colors, your messaging, your business name, whatever, build it for the clients who are aligned with you, and forget the rest. It can feel scary to not be right for everyone, but there is so much freedom and growth in that journey.

Who are your soulmate clients?
