Candace Ramirez is a Seattle-area senior UX writer and marketing copywriter for global tech companies. With nearly a decade of experience in her industry, she’s an expert at embodying your brand voice, engaging your community, and converting new customers.

Candace is all about bringing people together. She gets really excited when writing about hardware or software that helps people connect and collaborate authentically.

★ EXPERIENCE ★

Candace discovered her passion for writing early. She was the nerd in high school who got excited about writing essays while the other kids grimaced. Writing always felt like a fun puzzle for her. 

She got her start in college as editor-in-chief of her school newspaper. While covering music festivals like Bonnaroo, she noticed the PR and content folks had way cooler jobs. She switched majors to Public Relations and never looked back.

Since then, she’s helped tech companies of all sizes establish themselves as innovators in highly-technical fields.

Candace is a writer for unapologetically bold tech teams working toward a more connected and more inclusive world.

★ BACKGROUND ★

Candace lives just outside Seattle with her boyfriend Rob and their two sweet dogs: a golden retriever named Dolly (after Dolly Parton), and a shetland sheepdog named Bunsen (after the Muppet!). They’ll probably make an appearance on Zoom calls.

She spends her free time serving as a local chapter leader for Latinas in Tech, where she heads communications. She also loves hiking, painting, and picking up new skills.
