Project Overview:
UX copy for Logitech’s Room Configurator
I strategized and wrote the UX copy for a refresh of Room Configurator, Logitech’s online meeting room configuration experience.
The existing version was effective but needed to be updated for new product launches, brand voice, and to nudge users to go through the entire process. See a detailed look at the experience below.

For each slide, I’ve included a description of what steps I took and why. Click each image for a full-screen view.
For the start page, I wanted to give IT decision-makers a clear reason to go through the Room Configurator process. Keeping brevity in mind, I acknowledged the users' needs, and used bullet points to show how Room Configurator works, what they'll get out of it, and why they should care.
I kept the copy simple and straightforward, avoiding technical jargon.
At this step, we show users that Room Configurator is using their responses to customize the experience.
Here, a simple, straightforward question in plain language clarifies two answer choices that otherwise may feel too technical for a quick quiz.
Writing the product descriptions for Room Configurator was a challenge. Each one had to be brief, hyperfocused on IT needs, and appropriate for any combination of results.
To prevent information overload, I kept the copy brief and we added an info button so users can click to learn more about each product as needed.
Here, I wanted to make it obvious that this step is optional so users don't feel like they're going through a thoughtful process instead of just clicking through screens and adding items to a cart.
Here again, I've used a friendly call to action to remind users that Logitech is guiding them through the process, and to keep them from prematurely exiting.
*Click the image to see the full form. This copy congratulates users for finishing the experience and reminds them exactly what they'll receive upon completing the form.
Here, we congratulate the user again for completing the experience, reassure them that it was well worth their time, and make it easy to save and share results with their teams. From here, they can scroll down to view the full shopping guide, or start over.
